Creating Implicit Enhancement inside a BAdI

Hi All,

Is it ok if i create an implicit enhancement inside a BAdI (VATDATE_VALUES) ehnancement implementation and place some custom coding? It is not filter dependent BAdI and only usable once. SAP has already implemented some standard functionality.

As i also need to have this standard functionality as well, is it fine if i implement my implicit enhancement at the end of the BAdI method?

There are other options as well like:

1. Create a Z implementation and copy the SAP standard coding into it. But if SAP provides an update later on, it might be a problem as old coding might miss some functionality.

2. Calling the SAP standard methods into the Z Implementation. But this has a different problem, it has many import and changing parameters as optional, in coding of standard implementation SAP checks that if the import and changing parameters are supplied. If i call and supply the parameters now, i need to make many checks here.

Is it recommanded to create an enhancement implementation or use the first option from above? Or are there any alternatives?

Thanks in advance,

Kind regards,
