SSO from R/3 backend to Enterprise Portal

Hi everyone,

as I read through as couple of threads concerning the above mentioned topic, I never found a solution for it.

What I know is that I have to export the certificate and import it into the Portal. A cookie can then be created which realizes the authentication at the Portal.

The ticket has to be created for the whole domain if the portal server is located in a different domain.

What has to be done that the Portal accepts tickets from a R/3 bckend?

Hi James,

I know that I can realize SSO from a Portal to a backend R/3 System.

What I am trying to do is create a SSO from a backend System to the Portal.

Can someone help?

Hi Olaf,

Did you find a solution for this. We are trying to configure a similar scenario. But it is SSO from a CRM system to enterprise portal.

Thanks & Regards,

Veena

Olaf,

You can read single sign-on (SSO) with logon tickets on
