We have recently had a situation where we have part shipped 99% of a Bill of Materials order to a customer worth £2000 but because one part was unavailable this will not be invoiced until that part ships. Is it possible to check the Sales Order to ensure all parts are in stock for the BOM and if not create a message to say 'Not all parts are available are you sure you want to continue?' We only need this functionality for BOMs and not normal Sales Orders. I've tried to play around with this but I'm getting nowhere
