Create Serial number with reference: No data copied

Dear experts,

I execute TCode IQ01 and enter a new material number / serial number combination with reference to an existing one.

Somehow no data will be copied. I need to enter all data manually.

With IE01 this is workung, but he serial number tab is missing.

Is ther any missing setting to get date from one serial number be copeied to a new one?

Hi,

You can do via Configuration

Plant Maintenance and Customer Service - Master data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service - Technical Object - Equipment - Equipment Categories - Define additional business views for Equipment Categories

Else, you can select manually from IE01 or IE02

Edit - View Selection - Serial Number
