Can we configure NON-SAP applications such as Java, Siebel, .Net into Fiori Launchpad?

Hello Team,

Can we configure non sap application such as Java, Siebel, .Net applications into Fiori Launchpad ?

I understand we can only configure below types but wanted to understand the limitations.

SAPUI5

Web Dynpro ABAP

SAP GUI for HTML

Hi,

I hope it is possible with below prerequisites and steps.

Prerequisites:

     1. Users must be available in SAP (where SAP_UI addon exist).

     2. SAP web dispatcher need to be configured with routing rules to redirect browser request to non-            SAP applications (Java, Siebel, .Net applications).

High level steps:

     1. Creating custom catalog with static tile.

     2. Create target mapping by providing non-SAP application URL.

     3. Create tile for the same.

     4. Create a group and add tile from custom catalog.

     5. Mapping catalog and group to role.

     6. Assign the role to user.

I have not yet started configuring the NON SAP Apps yet. However requirements are there and doing the feasibility analysis in S/4 HANA 1511/1602 ( FPS02 )

So I understand this is doable by the using the static Tile , Target Mapping and lpd_cust configuration. Is it correct?

In out landscape we are not using Web Dispatcher but Load Balancer is being used.

Considering this what should be the suggested configuration ?

Ans: Yes, correct.

Your Load Balancer solution must support reverse proxy functionality. Please cross check with responsible person who configured. Otherwise you will get "Cross Origin" error.
