Change Requests - how are they managed in Byd

Hi All

If i have a project base lined, approve and active then we get a change to either time or cost.

Note - my company manages CR outside of SAP Byd.  Im more interested in knowing once the CR is agreed by parties how the change is made in Byd and then viewed ?

eg for Time Schedule Change, would you make a change to the schedule and then re-baseline ?  How can you view what was once the baseline schedule against what is now the new ?

Im assuming something similar works if there was a change in revenue ?

       In addition to Sahalya,

    The active version of baseline can be viewed in the WoC : Project Management-->Change Management-- Baselines. Here we can find the number of versioning for the project.

Hello Garrette,

You are right, you need to perform the changes to the original project plan, then modified baselines be submitted for approval (create a new baseline).

Once a modified baseline is approved, it becomes the new active baseline. This new baseline replaces the previous baseline, and is then used as the reference point for determining deviations from planning in project execution.
