I am working in SAP DS for almost ~4 years now. Even though I didn't explored more onto DQ side, feels like learning more on top of DS. Appreciate your suggestions.

Even i'm in the same situation.

I can suggest you to gain knowledge on DQ and SAP Information steward.

Also learn SAP HANA Dev.

* What are the possibilities in DQ arena for SAP DS?
* By learning HANA do I need to shift from ETL to DB/modeling domain ?
* I would like to learn something where I can make use of my SAP DS knowledge.

Hi Debasree,

There will be lot of projects in future on BODS+HANA.

When some company implements HANA, Migration of data to HANA will be done using SLT and DS.

Knowledge on DQ will help you as it will differentiate you with other DS consultants as many of them have knowledge only on DS but not on DQ.

SAP does. There's a 2-day introduction course, called DS30 Data Services - Data Quality Mangement. All info on https://training.sap.com/.

To get you started, there's plenty of content available on Data Quality - Enterprise Information Management - SCN Wiki and .
