Hi Experts,
Please let me know if UPDTQA just increase/decrease the existing quota number (or) Replace the existing quota number with the number in HRS operand.
Because, i have a PCR as below
HRS= QNUMAH
HRS-MZAA1
UPDTQA99
ZAA1 is the timetypes which carries number '0' for example .
So, when this PCR executed sometimes it is just updating the existing number in quota but someimes it is doubling up.
Quota Number before PCR processing | Quota Number After PCR processing | |
Case 1 | 70 | 70 |
Case 2 | 70 | 140 |
please Help

Hi,
It depends on the configuration you have given in the view V_556A_B, if it has chosen Increase.. quota will increase from the current.. if replace has given..it will replace the entire number.
Thanks

SAme ESG is fine.. but in that view.. you have three options like no generation, increase or decrease.. if you are using time evaluation you have to use any one of the option increase or replace.
if increase is chosen if PCR is going to add something.. it will be added with current value.. same way it will minus the value as well.
If you have chosen Replace.. the value which PCR is updating will be replaced in 2006,
you got it ?
Thanks

Hi Sriram,
yes i understood your explanation. Currently, quota has 'replace' option selected.
This PCR mainly gets executed on the effective day when employee gets transferred from one ESG to other ESGs.
But, the issue here is even though diff ESGs employees are transferred to same ESG, for some employees it is increasing but for some employees it is replacing the existing quota.

UPDTQA will add to the IT 2006 entl balance from the current hrs value, which may be + or -.
Include a PRINT operation before and after UPDTQA op'n. This will show what the change is in IT 2006.
Also run a Infotype change report for the employees' IT 2006 for the relevant day.
