Cancel Inspection Lots

I want to clean the development system of Inspection Lots but the Cancelo option is no be able.

Hi OCS,

I didnt get "Clean the development system", but if you want to get LTCA status please check below.

1. In the above screenshot the lot origin is "04", this lot probably created while GR posting (- 101 movement type) against order. To cancel the lot, cancel the material document using MBST transaction.

2. You can try cancelling the inspection lots through Functions --> Cancel lot for Manual inspection lots.

Hi OCS,

As Venkat rightly mentioned, you need to be sure about what is the logistic process created the inspection lots, before you trying for cancelling those lots. Many of them may not be straightforward, as there may be background postings happened too, which you need to clean up as well, if you are expecting LTCA status, as there are stock related implications for those corrective actions. This is the best way you can clean up your system.

If you are looking for some temporary cleaning of inspection lots, may be you can decide if "LKD" system status is fine for your business, just to differentiate between active inspection lots and non-required inspection lots. If so, you can use "Block Lot" as shown in your screenshot. Later when you wish to re-process it, you can unblock it (to regenerate initial system status) and do the needful.
