"Instance with the same key already exists" - when migrating to an existing hierarchy


Hi All,

We are trying to upload a single-level hierarchy into C4C and running into this error (above).

I did see a previous SCN forum for it but it didn't quite resolve our specific issue. One of the items mentioned previously was to check if any of the accounts belong to an existing hierarchy.

In our list of accounts in the hierarchy template, only the top-level node exists in the system with one child attached to it.

We have another 40+ child accounts that we are trying to add to this existing hierarchy.

How can we add these child accounts to the existing hierarchy? i.e. I cannot find what hierarchy IDs exist already in the system as well..
