My Client has requirement where they want to create an additional FI document at the time of PGI for specific Customer account assignment groups. This additional document generated will tae care of the offsetting entries so as to send them through an interface to their target system for reporting purposes.
In a normal delivery scenario, I believe the journal entry posted is as below -
1. Dr COGS 100 Rs
2. Cr Inventory 90 Rs
3. Cr Additional Costs 10 Rs
1. Dr Customer 100 Rs
2. Cr Sales/Revenue 100 Rs
However the client requires an offsetting entry to be passed after the PGI -
after PGI -
1. Dr Sales/Revenue 100 Rs
2. Cr COGS 100 Rs
Can this be achieved through Account determination configuration in OBYC and VKOA alone and do we need an enhancement for this ?
if an enhancement is required, I believe I can use the BAPI "
