u can go to se54 and do the same.

with this we are generating a maintanance dialog (screen)

which is an interface to mainatain (update) tables using sm30.

<b>single step:</b>Only one maintenance screen is processed during extended table maintenance. The entries are displayed in list form on this screen.

<b>two step:</b>Two maintenance screens are processed during the extended table maintenance:

On the Overview screen the entries are displayed in list form.

On the Single screen one entry is displayed. The single screen can be called from the overview screen, by function key, for every entry.

hi Pawan,

in Order to Maintain your table using <b>SM30</b> ..

you need to generate table maintenance dialog..

these are just the numbers for the screens getting created ..

you can click on <b>Find Screen Numbers</b>..

it willl automatically be proposed..

After going to SM30 .click on maintain..

go to system status.. you can find the screen number there..

Hi,

when you create a table maintainance,

SAP will genrate a module pool program.

The values you enter for the screen numbers are assigned to the maintainance screens.

you can check that by opening your function f=group in SE80.

hope this helps.

Hi pawan,

1. In your case,

just do this :

2. select ONE STEP

In overview screen enter 9000 (or any screen number will do)

-

explanation

3. ONE-STEP : (Overview screen)

There will be only one screen

in table format where we have to edit/append/delete

the records of the table.

4. TWO-STEP : (Overview + another single screen)

In this case,

first a small screen is presented

where the user can enter the primary key(s) fields,

then he has to either press edit/enter

for further entering into the more fields.

5. When table fields are less, say 5-9,

then just one step concept is sufficient.

6. When table fields are more than 10,

then one can go for TWO STEP concept

(for ease of use and data entry)
