Hi,
Can anyone please let me know how to hide the 'New' button for all the infotypes that is appearing in the overview screen, in this application

this wont help you as its for ESS and not this application, I already provided you the steps
View: V_T77PAOMDCFPRP
I show you with an example again, In this table under Configuration Properties, you can hide NEW BUTTON.
Obj.Type Config ID IT Version Var. Key Description Infty Text Cost Assgn "New" Btn
P IT0003 99 Payroll Status AUTO AUTO NONE
Regarding the "New" button, this can be realized via customizing.
In the customizing activity "Personnel Management->Personnel & Organization->Infotypes->Infotype UI Configurations for Master Data Application->Define Customer UI Configurations/Display Standard" SAP defines whether an infotype should have a "New"-button or not. See infotype IT0003 for an example that has no "New"-Button. As a customer, you have to use IMG activity "Personnel Management->Personnel & Organization->Infotypes->Infotype UI Configurations for Master Data Application->Customer: Override UI Configurations" to override the SAP settings.
Regarding the "Delete" and "Edit" icons, they are part of the individual FPM-configurations created for each infotype. These FPM configurations are also stored in the above mentioned IMG activity. Here you have different possibilities to "eleminate" them.
there is no customization for these
You need to use this
First possibility is to create own FPM-configurations (by copying the SAP configurations) in the customer name space and register/specify them in the above mentioned customizing activity. In your own FPM-configurations you can simply remove the icons. Disadvantage is that this might be a lot of work if you use a huge * of infotypes.
Second possibility is to manipulate the SAP configurations by means of "Customizing". You open the FPM-configuration in the editor and use function "Additional Functions -> Create customizing". Now you can remove the icons. Like above, this might infect a huge * of infotypes.
Another possibility is to enhance the feeder classes (ABAP-code) that provide the infotype data to be displayed in the FPM-configurations at runtime. The feeder classes have the possibility to * icons to inactive/invisible. As most infotypes use the same feeder classes, the effort would be less but of course requires coding skills.

this applicaiton is
HRPAO_PAOM_MASTERDATA and yes in configuration you add infotypes here. Please check the SPRO path https://help.sap.com/erp_hcm_ias_2013_01/helpdata/en/1a/f2c601b8544814b09df26cd3ad928c/content.htm?f... Customizing for this infotype must be set up. You can find the relevant activities in Customizing for Personnel Management under Personnel & Organization Infotypes Infotypes for Employees International Infotypes Personnel Data (Infotype 0002) . In addition, you may need to make specific settings for your country for this infotype. You can check this and access these settings in Customizing for Personnel Management under Personnel & Organization Infotypes Infotypes for Employees Country-Specific Infotypes and Infotype Settings Personnel Data (Infotype 0002) .

you need to configure as i mentioned, please refer the RKT Customer: Override UI Configurations Use In this Customizing activity, you can override the settings and configurations delivered by SAP for the Personnel & Organization master data application (see also Customizing activity Define Customer UI Configurations/Display Standard with view cluster VC_T77PAOMDCF). You must only use this IMG activity to override the settings made under Define Customer UI Configurations/Display Standard. Customer-specific infotypes/data objects (that is, infotypes in the customer namespace 9nnn) must be defined under Define Customer UI Configurations/Display Standard as well. Entries in this Customizing activity have precedence over entries in Define Customer UI Configurations/Display Standard (see also Reading Logic for Configurations). Requirements You can only make an entry in this activity if a corresponding entry activity Define Customer UI Configurations/Display Standard (in view cluster VC_T77PAOMDCF).
