SAP RAR 1.1 - Revenue Accounting and Reporting - FI-RA - Customizing

Hi y'all,

I would like to use this discussion for exchanging experiences regarding the new SAP Add-On "SAP RAR 1.1" which is the SAP solution for IFRS 15.

We have already installed the add-on and now I am trying to analyze the Customizing and how the solution works at all.

We also installed the SD part called "REVRECSD".

Does anybody of you also have the challenge to implement this?

Thanks

Kenny

    Hi Kenny,

We are currently prototyping RAR 1.1 however we are experiencing challenges with getting the RAI class SD02 (Fulfillment type) from SD into RAR.

Therefore when we run the FARR_RAI_MON we don't see the SD02 items, even though they exist in SD (ie. we have an outbound delivery for the sales order that has been PGI'd).

Of course this means that when we try to recognise the revenue in the revenue contract for Event Type - Goods Issue and Fulfillment Type - Event Based it doesn't find anything.

We've double checked the standard config delivered for the revenue accounting item classes (ie SD02 (SD Fulfillment Items), the interface components are activated and consistent. In the REVRECSD component (under SD config) we have been able to configure the sales order type/item categories and invoice/billing types however we don't have an option to configure delivery types.

    Note we have installed components:

    REVREC Release 110 (SP3)

    REVRECSD Release 100 (SP8)

Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution?

    Your help would be appreciated.
