Adjusting quotas for terminated employees

Is there a way to adjust a terminated employees quota to zero?  If I try through PT50 all I get is an error "change in earliest retroactive accounting date time not possible" Is there another way?

Another way to reduce abs quota to zero is to use IT 416.  ?In this infotype, manual method allows more flexibility as compared to automatic one.  The methods should have been configured before use.

Note for payroll consultants: In payroll sub-schema XT00 function P0416 may create comp payment w/t depending on how IT 416 has been created or the comp method.  The for each IT 416 record, the P0416 function loops through IT 2006 record based on the validity period and deduction period, till IT 416 hrs/days are nil.  If ok, the entitlement balance hrs (field P2006-ANZHL) are reduced to create a comp pay w/t entry in OT (which then moves to IT end of P0416 processing). The hrs field in OT or IT has 2 dec as against 5 dec in P2006-ANZHL.  This introduces possibly a rounding error in each OT entry.  Hence the total comp w/t hrs may not be exactly same as IT 416 hrs.

To address this I modified the P0416 function to add the rounding differences to a var with 5 dec and add this var contents to the last record created in OT.

Hi,

check your customizing of action leave. As far as i know youd would guide by this action to set the end date of quota infotype 2006 to leave date and could decide if you will pay the rest quota by infotype 416.

Check the employee's "earliest" dates on IT0003, and try to change the Time Eval. earliest date.

Hi Remi Yes.  I have tried changing the date in IT0003 and even taken out the dates that were in there and get the message. "The changes that you have made make a recalculation necessary for 30.05.2003. The field Earliest personal recalculation date in time evaluation in the Payroll Status (0003) infotype limits recalculation for time evaluation to 01.01.2013" I cannot see where the 01.01.2013 would come from.  Would it be in the time schema somewhere? please have a look at the "Payroll Control Record" of the "Payroll Area" for the person. Transaction PA03.

As mentioned by Bernd, the Payroll Control Record is what controls retroactivity for the whole Payroll Accounting Area.

What I can't understand from your last comment is that you would require retrocalculation to May 2003, while that recalculation should only be required to just a few days before the employee's termination (where the Quota Adjustment should be dated).
