Netweaver 7.40 rather than 7.31 for SAP Sourcing 10.0

The installation guide and PAM only mentions Netweaver 7.31 J2EE for SAP Sourcing 10. This seems outdated.

As NW 7.40 is the same Java code-base I cannot see a technical reason why this cannot rather be used.

NW 7.31 is getting old and we have standardized on NW 7.40 for the time being. Does anyone know whether there is support for NW 7.40 mentioned somewhere?
