Hi,
We installed single IQ16 SP8 on Windows with SYSAM license server option and choose evaluation license.
Now we have generated un-served license and add .lic file to folder <IQ16>\SYSAM-2_0\licenses.
But when run "sysam reread" in command prompt it show "Imgrd is not running: Cannot connect to license server system. (-15,570)".
When run "sysam status" also show same.
In Windows services the SYSAM service is start, restart it make no effect on "sysam status" result.
Any suggestion will appreciated.
Best regards,
Chupong
Hi,
In case of un-served license, you don't need to run "sysam reread" command.
You can check the validation of license from iqmsg file when IQ starts up.
Please post the following details for further analysis.
1) iqmsg/dbname.lmp
2) license file
3) output of sp_iqlmconfig and "~/SYSAM-2_0/bin/cpuinfo -v2"
Best regards,
Gi-Sung Jang

Hi Gi-Sung Jang
Thank you Gi-Sung Jang, with your help I found the root cause. Now the .iqmsg show as below.
Is IQ's license successfully added?
FYI.
Before fix the .iqmsg show error below, no license file name showed in log.
I luckily found the root cause that the license file name have some special character(s).
After rename, it seem ok.
Best regards,
Chupong.
When IQ starts it looks for a file (or files) with a .lic extension either in the SYSAM-2_0/license directory or in the catalog file directory. It reads the file(s) and checks out licenses that match the license profile in the .lmp file. You will see all this output in the console output, IQMSG, etc.
Beyond what Gi-Sung requested, you should also send the .lmp file as it will tell us what licenses IQ will check out (production, standby, development, etc).
