We use Crystal Reports 2016 together with Microsoft SQL Server 2014. Our database has some nvarchar(MAX) fields.

If we use the ODBC driver 11 for SQL Server the fields are shown as Memo, what is correct. But we changed to the ODBC driver 13 for SQL Server now and have the problem that this fields are shown as string(255). In Crystal Reports this fields are printed, but the runtime doesn't print this fields.

Is it a bug in the ODBC driver or in Crystal Reports and what can we do now? For the future it is not possible to use only older ODBC driver.
