We Want to create additional authorization for field wise (Full/Read/No auth.)

Hi All,

I want to know how I can use additional authorization creator to give or not giving authorization to user forms and reports to different user?

my requirement is udf authorization user wise (Example :UDF Name:B01)

Hi,

Additional authorization will not block UDF, it will block SAP form. For example, if you use Form 150, it will block whole item master data.

In SAP B1 it is not a standard functionality, but you can achieves these requirement by using the SDK developments.

user wise udf authorization through additional authorization

Hi,

Go to Additional Authorization and click on new.

Enter unique authorization ID, Name and in Option select Full/None/Read.

In Forms ID, Click on Edit button and write Form no. for OITM may be 150 or -150 (for UDF) - Just check in Item Master Data through System Information

Click Add or Update.

Then by doing this you set authorization from General Authorization Window for particular users for Read,Full and None.

Hi,

Try to take cursor on UDF field and check Form Id. Ithink for UDF it is -150.

try with that.
