Hi,

Our client is using fiori app in Norwegian, but some of the field names are not translated. What can cause this? How to fix it?

Thank you!

Hi Diana Martinsone,

Please add sap-language=<Language code> in Fiori launchpad URL.

Example: http://domin:prot/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/FioriLaunchpad.html?sapui5=true&sap-client=0...sap-language=EN

Thanks,

Hi Lakshman, thanks for the input, but...

There are language parameter in link - and half of the screen is in Norwegian, but some default fields are not translated, and that is the problem. I mean, take a look at the screenshot - the bottom part is not in Norwegian.

Hi Diana,

When we look into UI screen two kids of data you can find.

1. Data coming from front-end UI5 application. i.e., labels,labels on button etc...

is depend on sap-language=EN parameter and relevant resource bundle(I18N) file need to be available.

Please download the UI5 application and check all the labels available in resource bundle or not.

otherwise raise a case with SAP for support!

2. Data coming from back-end system through ODATA service.

is depending on the language configured in RFC destination created in SM59.

    Gateway/Front-end -->SM59 RFC connection (Language) --->Backend system.

Make sure both are referring to same language. Then you will get complete screen in single language.

Thanks,

Lakshman Balanagu.

Hi Diana,

Adding to the Lakshman's point #2, language field should be blank in the SM59 trusted RFC setting.

Thank you, Masa! Deleting the language field in backend solved the issue.
