Risk Maintenance workflow triggered for changes transported?

Hi Folks,

We have workflow based approval for Risk Maintenance and Function Maintenance in GRC AC which gets triggered when we make changes to function/risk and save.

I wanted to cross validated behavior related to this functionality. Does this workflow item gets triggered if we make changes to lower environment(development) and transport it to Quality-> production environment? (As per my understanding system doesn't pick triggeres based on transport)
