How does one backup and restore a HCP trial HANA MDC?

Hi all,

since the new HANA MDC are stopped and deleted after a while on HCP trial infrasctructure, I wonder if it is possible to easily backup and restore an HCP trial HANA MDC?

While of course I can import/export my CDS artifacts, I would like to easily backup everything, eg also the security settings and settings like the trust settings eg done like described in

Any ideas?

Hi Wolfgang,

As far as I understood, the only possible way to back up the trial HANA MDC is by exporting and then importing a delivery unit (DU). Here you can read more how you can do that: Maintaining Delivery Units - SAP HANA Developer Guide for SAP HANA Studio - SAP Library
