JZ006.IOException, java.net.UnknownHostexception:BI4_CMS_DSN

Hi,

Installed IPS SP5 and DS SP4 with SQL Anywhere on windows 8.1. I created local repository in repository manager but getting below error when trying to configure the repository in CMC

Error- There is a problem to connect to repository in CMS.JZ006.IOException, java.net.UnknownHostexception:BI4_CMS_DSN

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Windows 8.1 is not a supported platform for IPS.

I am trying to install on windows server 2012 R2 standered, but it is giving windows version critical error.

Please assist me if i am missing anything?

you cannot use any client OS.... you have to use Server OS.
