SAP ERP HCI Integration

Hi Experts,

I am facing difficulties to connect our SAP systems to cloud through HCI.

We had performed the following activities to establish the connection for Outbound Test

a) Maintained the HCI certificate in STRUST

b) Created the RFC destination with G type, but when tested the following RFC receiving the error as ICM_HTTP_Connection_Failed. But according to the note kernel release is [721_REL spvl 500]

So could you kind suggest if any more details need to be maintained in RFC to connect.

Hi,

The error ICM_HTTP_Connection_Failed usually can occur because of missing proxy configuration and has nothing to do with HCI as such. A simple connection test to Google can help you. If you can connect to Google you can also connect to HCI tenant.

Hi Abinash,

Thanks for the reply. So far as per my understanding is the proxy is required for RFC [Type -G]?

Let me explain the scenario we are facing it right now. We have onpremise SAP system[@ intranet] and Saprouter[in DMZ - which can talk to internet] so we need established the connection in between onpremise SAP application to HCI.

SAP[Intranet] - SAProuter[DMZ] - HCI[Internet]

So when we have created the RFC[type -G] and permorfing the connection test it is falling.

So could you guide me how can we setup connectivity test to HCI from onpremise SAP.

Thank you

Regards,

Kumar
