Deleteing NZ Tax Codes in Australian Database

Hi

I have created a database and when configured for Australia, NZ tax codes as well as AU tax codes populate the Tax Codes table. I have read that you are able to right click and remove any codes you do not require, and this works for the majority of the NZ Codes, but for the code labelled GST1 NZ GST Input, I find it comes up with a message as follows:

"Cannot remove current VAT Code [Message 895-11]"

Now I can make it inactive which I will do, but is there a method to delete it? There are no transactions in the database and only the GL has accounts in it currently.
