Data Field Assignment Maintenance - Save of CENTRAL_STORAGE_LOCATION too long

Hello all,

Looking to see if there is a configuration problem or if this is a bug in where a ticket needs to be opened.

When trying to create a new type that is a copy of ERP_INV_RCPT_DATA to a new one (Z_ERP_INV_RCPT_DATA) with additional "Data Fields" added I am receiving the following error message when saving: "Data Field CENTRAL_STORAGE_LOCATION is too long (24 > 23) (Message 12032)"

I find this interesting that I am receiving this error as the "CENTRAL_STORAGE_LOCATION" is an out-of-the-box field in ME.

Currently running SAP ME: Base 15.1.1.0 Counter 201602011916

Any help or feedback would be appreciated,

Hello Mike,

This restriction was implemented for Note 2146637. You can read in solution area how to avoid this error.
