Hi all
We are on SAP BPC NW 10.1 SP09.
We need to consider the number of days of every month in our calculations.
When we perform our script logic we perform it with the variable %TIME_SET% so that we can enter the period as e.g. 2016.02, 2016.02 in the variable screen?
Is it possible to use the property “DAYS” of the TIME dimension in our script logic so that we can consider the number of days of each month in our calculation.
Or is it possible to take just the year e.g. 2016 of the period 2016.01, 2016.02?
If this is possible, how can this be done?
Thanks in advance and best regards
Gerd
First - it's a bad idea to use some value stored in property in the script logic calculations.
Use some special account member with all other dimensions - some dummy members. Store in this account number of days for each month and use it in the calculations.
"Or is it possible to take just the year e.g. 2016 of the period 2016.01, 2016.02?" - absolutely unclear...
