Hi Friends,
I have installed solution manager 7.1 and upgraded to SPS14 and completed post steps. Now when i execute t-code solman_setup the configuration screen appeared, then i selected System Preparation and clicked on Edit tab...the cursor on the screen shows it is processing...it is processing for hours and hours....and finally i realized that nothing is happening. So decided to take help from SCN. I am attaching the screenshots for reference. Your help and solution is highly appreciated.
Thank You,
Narendra.

Hi Rishav,
Thank you for your help. It worked after going through the note 1547441
Solution:
Hint: you can add this URL to your browser favorites and use this link to call Solution Manager Setup directly instead of using transaction SOLMAN_SETUP.
I just added to the exixting URL &sap-accessibility=X , it worked.
Thank You,
Narendra

Hi Narendra,
You have to install Adobe flash in the system where you are accessing the url and this will resolve the issue.

Hi Narendra,
this is due to compiling the webdynpro coding and other abap stuff in first time.
Try to increase the time out for HTTP service in SMICM transaction, so that compilation process can finish before timeout of http server is coming and terminating the connection to the browser. In that case, the workprocess will be released and the compilation will stopp before finish all.
Another approach is to compile all abap stuff with SGEN before using SOLMAN_SETUP.
Kind regards,
Christoph
