Failed to analyze instruction /CPMB/FAIL_SWITCH_TO_PLAN Optimize Model

Hi good day,

When I run a light optimization to a model I get the following error:

"Failed to analyze instruction / CPMB / FAIL_SWITCH_TO_PLAN"

I am working SAP BPC 10.1 NW SP09 Hana

They know how to solve this problem?

Have a look at SAP note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2136128

Also try the following:

Did you change the real time load mode in BW?

Try change that model back to the following then try again.

I tried with the two modes load mode in BW and does not work the optimize.

I have seen the note you mention but the version in which work is SP09, in the note refers SP07.

you have any other ideas of error?

Did you modify delivered Package or Process Chain? /CPMB/FAIL_SWITCH_TO_PLAN supposed to be a name of a Process Type in that chain, but I don't see such type in delivered PC.

Can you post screen shot of your Process chain with "Detail View On" and Dynamic Script from the Package?

Try delete the package and create it again.

I see you try to run from web admin, can you try to run from epm add in?

In the package that runs from the EPM-AddIn he pulled off the line where you run "/ CPMB / FAIL_SWITCH_TO_PLAN" and runs correctly when run from the web manager shows error.

in the package of EPM-AddIn remove the line code "/ CPMB / FAIL_SWITCH_TO_PLAN" is executed correctly , the error shown to optimize the model from the web admin.

That process chain you want to see?

Delivered PC for this is /CPMB/LIGHT_OPTIMIZE.

Hi David,

Do you get this error from all your models? or just one?

If possible, maybe try delete all the data in the model and load it again.

You can see that in this PC there is no step with name /CPMB/FAIL_SWITCH_TO_PLAN. It looks like you are referring to this step in your Dynamic script. Can you please show that script here?

Were you able to resolve the issue? We just completed BW Sp13 and CPMBPC 800 SP19 upgrade.

We are seeing the same error.

In the Process Chain screen shot you provided that line has Process Type /CPMB/SWITCH_TO_PLAN, not /CPMB/FAIL_SWITCH_TO_PLAN.

It looks like you have discrepancy between Process Chain and DMP script that calls it. This can happen during upgrade or if you ran ENVIRONMENTSHELL activation for DM Packages. Problem is that it keeps PC and DMP in sync for delivered DMP only. I can see that your DMP is custom. So, you can try running program UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT with "Activate BI Business Content" checked or try activating LO PC from RSA1.

If after that you still don't have /CPMB/FAIL_SWITCH_TO_PLAN in your PC then try deleting your DMP and creating it again as Andy suggested.
