Good day to all.
We added the planning strategy after sales orders were entered. We then added planned independent requirements (PIRs). The old sales orders do not consume the PIRs. Field VPZUO (allocation indicator) is null in tables LIPS and VBBE when it needs to be 1 (Consume planning with assembly). I assume this is due to the fact the planning strategy was not there at the time of order entry. Newly created sales orders consume the PIRs.
Does anyone know of any SAP program/report or transaction that might reread the master data to resolve this? That or any other solution would be appreciated.

Eric,
I assume you are talking about your test system; since you would NEVER make such changes in your productive system without first testing the changes, right?
The below method works in many cases.
VA02
Select the item
Remove the plant. Press enter. Press Enter through any warnings. Do not save.
Replace the plant. Press enter.
Save the order.
If the order item has been delivered, you will have great difficulty in changing anything.
Best Regards,

DogBoy - Thanks for the quick response. We are in our quality system at this point, not in production. I gave your suggestion a try and it worked. We have tons of deliveries out there and the sales orders with deliveries allow for no changes in plant. They appear locked in as you wrote.
I'm thinking we will adjust the PIRs by the sales order/delivery quantities. This may be the best we can do.
