FIORI - My Time Events App

We activated FIORI My Time Events App using Odata service HCM_CICO_MANAGE_SRV.

We configured additional fields (Attendance/Absence Reason, Day assignment, Valuation Basis for Different Payment & Extra Pay Indicator) through SPRO Personnel Management --> Employee Self-Service (Web Dynpro ABAP) --> Service-Specific Settings --> Clock-In/Out Corrections --> Layout of the Web Application --> Define Field Selection.

We made Attendance/Absence Reason field as required entry in SPRO.

Now when we launch FIORI App we do not see any of these additional fields.

We tried to create a time entry using fiori app and got an error "You must make an entry in the Att/abs. reason field". So, it seems back end code is reading the configuration and not saving entry.

Please let us know how to enable additional fields on the FIORI App.

can you see this in your ESS application this field?

additional fields like Attendance/Absence Reason, can be added via through SPRO Personnel Management --> Employee Self-Service (Web Dynpro ABAP) --> Service-Specific Settings --> Clock-In/Out Corrections --> Layout of the Web Application --> Define Field Selection.

I can see additional fields in the webdynpro application but not in FIORI App.

Today got to know from SAP that 'My Time Events' app does not support additional fields configured in SPRO.

Only Webdynpro app can display those additional fields.

Seems SAP has a plan to come up with new app to include these additional fields in future.
