Slug parameter and Uploadcollection control

Hello Everyone,

We have hit an issue with the uploadCollection sapui5 control. The filename for the attachment being uploaded was being sent to the backend gateway service via the "slug" header parameter.

var oCustomerHeaderSlug = new sap.m.UploadCollectionParameter({

name: "slug",

value: oEvent.getParameter("fileName")

Gateway service' create stream is used in the backend to read the header request parameter that is read via the IV_SLUG parameter. All was well until a few a days ago. No code has been modified on the frontend. But now,the all of a sudden the iv_slug parameter in the create stream method is blank inspite of the slug parameter being filled on the frontend app. Looking through the developer console in chrome, the "slug" parameter is all intact but gets lost before it gets read by the create stream method. Does anyone have any idea/pointers/suggestions in terms of what might have caused this behaviour?

Many thanks!

    Hello Mohammed,

    If you are running the application from the WEB-IDE you may need to add an entry to your neo-app.json file. It is missing a headerWhiteList

    Ad the end of the neo-app.json add the following line:

    "welcomeFile": "/webapp/test/flpSandbox.html",

    "sendWelcomeFileRedirect": true,

    Regards Leon

    This issue might have introduced with latest UI release, check below SAP note for latest patched UI version if that helps.

    2316967 - SAPUI5 upgrade to version 1.36.9

    Best Regards,
