Hi All,
I would like to have a central saplogontree.xml but I want the users to keep their favorites.
We have regular updates in the saplogontree.xml (we have about 300 systems in the saplogon.ini).
What are the possible solutions ?
Thanks in advance,

look at the SAPUILandscapeGlobal.xml settings file

You can have one central file and point the individual installations to it with a registry setting (or NWBCoptions.xml).

You can still have a central saplogon.ini file and use the registry key to manage it.

Hi Fredrik, personaly I like this way of configuration very much. Unfortunately this has a major drawback. Several SAP clients do not support the ConfigFileOnServer. So BO Analysis for Office, ABAP for Eclipse, BO Design Studio and others will not see system definitions configured via ConfigFileOnServer. Unfortunately SAP's client develeopers seem to regard this as an optional feature and seem not interested to fix this.

Lutz
