Adding New inputfield in infotype 22

Hi Guru's,

i have the scenario like need to add the new input field in infotype 22 in the main screen .kindly help me on the this scenario . it can be possible through customer exits. if yes please help on this.

Hi,

Please follow the steps:

1. Go to transaction PM01. Select “Single Scrn” tab .Now enter Infotype no. The radio button “Customer Include” should be selected. Now click on “Generate Objects”. create structure pop up will appear, click yes. Give short description of structure and add your custom field (say zfield), specify data type and activate the structure.

2. Go back to PM01->'Singe screen' tab-> enter infotype 0022 (Infotype version if applicable) ->Generate objects button.

Now check in PA20 screen, if it is appearing.

Hi Prany,

i have went to same process , but it was taking me to BADI screen (SE19). is BADI is required for this . if i create the badi it will insert the new field in main screen (which i was mentioned in above screen short.?).

No, you don't need badi to add field on infotype screen. There's already custom include (CI_PXXXX) provided in each infotype structure. Just add your custom fields in that structure and through PM01->assign enhnacement, you can include those fields to screen.

Yes, customer fields will appear in additional fields box. To include your field with standard fields, you will need access key to modify standard screen layout of module pool MP002200, screen :2000.

Thanks for reply , yes as you told that filed will add in new functional fields but my requirement is to add the new zfiled  with standard fields . is there any function people can do this through SPRO configuration. ?

Hi,

Through SPRO, you can only include fields which are already there in infotype structure (pnnnn). Check view V_T588M. Goto SM30, enter this view-> infotype module pool (MP002200)->select any screen->Details button.

Here, you will find all the fields present in standard structure of infotype. You can make fields mandatory/output only/hide etc.

Apart from these, you can change header texts as well through spro config.
