SAP Business One Studio Not Connected

Former Member

Hi. I am trying to open Business One Studio on my SAP Client, but it always shows as "Not Connected".

I can't find anything regarding connection. I've tried to start from inside B1 Client.

I have also tried to Edit Active Form, and I could send form to the Studio. But I even after I sent, it still showed as "not connected".

SAP 9.1 PL11

I installed both 32 bit and 64 bit version Client, and DI API.

MSSQL 2008

I am not sure what I can expect when I am connected, but I can't see anything in Business One Studio when "not connected". I can create Workflow and Add on, but I can't see any columns or form IDs or load form from running client.

Can someone help me on how to connect? Is there something I did wrong? How can I troubleshoot this? No error messages no logs whatsoever.

Thank you for help.

Hello Rudy,

This shouldn't be causing any problem to you. Because company connection is needed when you are trying to load a UDO form from your SAP Business One databases. Could you explain me the details of the issue you are having?

Also to open a connection Right Click to your project and then choose Add -> UDO Form. A connection details form will be prompted and you will be able to select which company you want to connect.

Thanks,

OK.. I am connected now after filling licenser server, server, user/pass etc.. but it still shows as "not connected" on title bar.

Actually I don't have any issues yet, but maybe because I couldn't get any link to databases or forms. Will try to make something after this.

I want to add distribution list to delivery items.

So it won't give any problem later, correct?

Hello Rudy,

To be honest I have never seen that `Not Connected` message changing. But if you ever have problems with the form make sure that you loaded it from the same database you are testing. For example if you load your form from a US localized company and try to run it in another localization it is likely you will have problems.

Thanks,
