Generating Sequence of Numbers in BEX Query Designer

Hi All,

I want to present Numbers in Sequence (1,2,3,.....). Please let me know how can I create such formula in Bex Query Designer.

Hi Karthik,

I did and able to generate sequence number.

Just do like this.

1. Add required infoobjects in ROWS
2. Create New formula, let call Sequence
3. In General Tab-->keep 1
4. In Calculations Tab-->Check "Cumulated" and Calculation Direction -->Calculate Along the Rows

That's it , execute report, you can see sequence numbers.

In addition to Nanda's steps, it is also helpful in the Calculations tab to set Calculate Results As: Summation

Add formula column. In the Detail View Enter 1 and Aggregation Total (Sum) and in Calculation Tab Tick on Cumulated.

But since it is a KF can not be taken as Left Most Column

Thanks for your reply. But, it's not working ...showing up only 1. Its not showing Sequence. Can you please elaborate if possible...
