Hi,

I was searching about the (HANA) roadmap for Workflow, found a lot about BRF, BRM, HRF, But not about WF and (Pi and BPM which go's to) PO.

Is there any material which give 's

1) an outlook/roadmap of WF

2) An overview about all that terms, differences, advantages, architecture. (I found a good one about BRF, BRM and HRF.

Hi

Not sure that there is a lot of material available but there is currently a customer influence programm on workflow on Hana

Here under you'll find the details

Workflow in SAP S/4HANA

Project Start: March 2016

Simplifying Workflow is a vital step for S/4HANA Business Suite On-Premise customers. And it is a step in the right direction when moving to the Cloud.

This Initiative is focused on simplifying the workflow experience for users and those responsible for configuration, without losing the effectiveness of existing process automation with SAP Business Workflow.

Here are some examples of the directions this is taking:

  • Simple Approval-Design using a Fiori App
  • My Inbox as single inbox for all workflows with Fiori user interface (Ux)
  • Integration of Cloud line-of-business apps (SFSF, Concur…) into the My Inbox
  • Forms (smart templates) for S/4HANA
  • Enabling business configuration through web-based workflow editor

This workgroup will validate SAP development's working assumptions, and be able to influence the direction and finer details of the capabilities and user experience that is under development in the workflow area.

This group is not specific to any one functional area because the workflow capabilities are being adapted universally in SAP Business Suite 4 HANA.

Initially periodic Web conferences will be held with SAP development, customers and partners present. The expected frequency is once a month. Later site visits may be offered to ensure the integrity of the use-cases being collected.

I hope that's answering part of your question,

Cheers

Stephane
