Sounds like your connectivity details need to change in the driver.  This appears to be an Oracle connectivity issue.

Are there Oracle connectivity steps you need to complete when changing from shared to dedicated?

Hi Chris,

We don't have any option to update or change the connectivity details.

How are you connecting to the repository in that case?

If the model is actually checking out, then you may want to uncheck the General Options/Repository 'Display status icons in Local Browser' option.  This sends a query to the repository to check the status of models in your workspace (the stop-lighting as part of the model icon).

Although the repository connection settings are the same as used to extract, perhaps your change in the DBMS still needs a further change in the driver configuration.
