Web IDE for SAP HANA SPS 12 Installation: DI Core fails

Hi Experts,

after we installed xsa and were able to install hrtt, we struggle with Di Core

Does anyone can help?

Dirk,

You didn't include the mta extension in the first command.  Try the following:

1. Download the sap-xsac-di-3.12.7.mtaext from SAP Note 2304873 and add it to your directory.

2. Install using the following:

xs install XSACDEVXDI12_0.ZIP -e sap-xsac-di-3.12.7.mtaext

Todd, we didn't change the development space. We changed only the default organisation name to TBASE.

As far as I understood this docu, it is optional.

If you want to change the name of the development space from the default DEV: Set the DEV_SPACE property of the di-dev-space resource to the new name, for example: resources: - name: di-dev-space properties: DEV_SPACE: MYSPACE

We found this description within the installation documentation.

"In SPS11, SAP Web IDE developers had access to the SAP space in XS Advanced, in which the SAP

tools and applications are installed. From SPS12 onwards, you need to revoke the previously granted SpaceDeveloper role for the SAP space, and grant the SpaceDeveloper role for the development space to each SAP Web IDE developer"

Could this be the reason for this issue?
