Mapping CR (carriage return) and LF (linefeed) as string for the target system

Hallo,

the payload from the SAP Backend has for CR the string 
 and for LF 


Without mapping this string in the payload for the target System is 
 0D and 
 is 0A.

Can anybody tell me how is it possible in the target payload to transfer the string 
 and

And what is the end-end scenario?

To Third-Party-System with Adapter Typ SOAP

Hi Angelika,

Did you extracted both the XML from SAP PI (input and output XML)? If you see the CRLF is preserved in the output xml but converted to hexadecimal character.

I think it is correct to transfer the CRLF as hex-code 0D / 0A.

But the recipient shoult like the string 
 or 


I think it isn't practicable in SAP-PI-mapping.

Or have you any idea?
