Cancellation of Invoice linked with payment

Dear experts,

We have SAP 9.1 PL07 and we want your advice for the below issue.

There are the following cases :

1. Issue A/R Invoice and the linked it with payment.
2. Issuer A/R Invoice and Payment in the same time.

We are wondering if we are able to cancel - credit A/R Invoice without cancel the payment.
