Reporting Manager(Supervisor) of Employee is retired

Hello Guys,

I have one user case for which I wanted to know the behavior whether it correct or not.

Use Case as below >>

1. I have an Employee Say E1 in the Organization Unit.

2. The Same Employee E1 is reporting to Manager  Say M1 (Which is Supervisor).

3. If that Manager M1 Got Retired on Today 22/05/2016.

so  as per our understanding  that Manager M1 is Inactive from 22/05/2016.

Now Employee E1 Reporting Manager M1 is retired (Inactive).

4. so now As per our understanding Employee E1 should not have any reporting manager as it got retired.

But If tried to see the Supervisor/Leader through RH_GET_LEADER bapi  then it is showing use that Manger M1 as supervisor even though it is retired.

The relation ship is till exist  in PP01 transaction.

so Does it correct behavior as retired person is still showing as Manager/Superviosr even though it is Inactive for us ??

Kindly provide your input on it.

Many Thanks in Advance.

Best Regards,

Swapnil Pahurkar

Hi,

Ideally it should be delimited in PP01 for S-P relationship or B012 of the org. unit relationship whenever there is a change in manager position and update with the new manager details. So it is Correct behavior only to display what ever is there in PP01

Thanks for the input Krishna !!

Can you please Confirm  and provide your input on following use case as well.

>>

Suppose a Employee E1 in SAP HRMS system having multiple position assigned.

i.e.

Employee E1 having position P1.

& at the same time Employee E1 having position P2 .

here both position and Employee are active.

so in this case ,  Does it mean that Employee E1 having SINGLE ACCOUNT with multiple position.

or having two separate account for each position P1 & P2 on SAP HRMS system.

Kindly input on it.
