SAP script - dot matrix printer

Hello,

While Printing Cheque from SAP in TVS MSP 345 Star dot matrix printer, We are getting some XML file as output.Earlier it was working fine. But after formatting the PC connected with that dot matrix printer it is printing gibberish. I am using SAP GUI 740 with SAPPdfprint. The front-end printing log is saying that 'Printer TVS MSP 345 Star does not support PostScript'. The printer prints if print previewed the cheque in pdf before printing , but not if I print directly.

Please suggest a Solution.

Please check the printer installation. I feel this is something to do with the printer drivers installed.
