Hi, experts:
We will implement CRM, SRM, Portal, BI, S/4 HANA.
All the new system will be based on HANA platform.
There are also have some legacy systems.
We want to manage master data in a central system for new and legacy systems.
We found 2 solutions from SAP: master data management(MDM) , master data governance(MDG).
On my opinion, MDG is more suitable for our scenario.
Reasons:
1/ MDG based on HANA. So, we can simplify our instruction.
2/ MDG will be continue develop for future. And more compatible with S/4 HANA, CRM, SRM etc.
Is my understand is correct?
I'm waiting your advice.
Thanks.
Hi Pascal.
MDM aka NW-MDM already has an EOL in next few years. so suggest not to use.
MDG is your default choice besides this runs on standard Business Suite or S4 , you will get all out of box validations/config of these systems then.
Thanks
Vikas
