Purchase Order Workflow completed but last approver did not received work item

Hi All,

  Purchase Order workflow has been completed step but last release level (A2) approver did not received work item in his/her inbox.

and PO also has not released ( Final release not done)

I checked if approver is locked. he/she is Un locked.

Can you please suggest what are the possibilities?

Hi,

    The  best possiblities is, may be release strategy is like that way , whenver some change happend in purchase order, new workflow will create and approve from first level.  Exisiting workflow instance will  be completed. Please check the release stragy with MM consultant

Thanks for help. I have asked functional to check on this as in our case two workflows are triggered with difference of few minutes only and approver has not received work item but workflow is completed.

Hi

So I guess you are using the standard workflow.

So the approvers are determined via the release strategy customising. In this case can you check if the customising is correct release code with something to determine the approver for the workflow (workflow column)

Also have you let the task in the workflow as a general task or have you change the agent assignment ? (meaning restricting the potential agent ) => in this case the responsible for the release code has to met the condition for being in the group of potential agent check
