Hi all,

we have some issues after upgrade your PI system, with our File Sender channels.

These channels are polling an network directory but we got the message that the Network Drive does not exist.

When i test the File Sender Channel with a local drive it works.

can someone help me?

Regards,

Alex

  • One thing i can think of would be authorizations to the shared drive if the SIDADM User has changed.
  • The other thing I see from the screen shot if the drive is in capital T: while your test uses t:. Technically it should still be Ok as windows drives are not case sensitive but it might be worth a quick check..

Hi Bhavesh,

first - thanks for your quick response 🙂

the new SIDADM User has full admin rights and i can create / delete files on the remote Server.

Because of the second point, i tried the following possibilities

     T:\

     T:/

     t:\

     t:/

     T:

     t:

any other suggestions?

Regards,

Alex

Hello,

Unfortunately am out of ideas. Might be worth using XPI Inspector and checking the logs.

Also check the default trace files / logs & monitoring of your SOA Monitoring to see if there if you find any logs that may help..

Hi Alex,

  • Did you mount the remote file system into PI server?? if not file adapter does not support for network drive.
  • If you mount the file system then you can use file adapter with NFS protocol to read the files.
  • You need to use FTP or SFTP to read the file from remote server.

Regards,

Praveen.
