Report parameter screen is very slow coming up all of a sudden

Hello, all of a sudden a report that one of our managers runs at the beginning of every month takes 10 - 15 minutes to come up.  Once the parameter screen comes up and you make our choices, the report runs fine.  This is happening for several users in several locations.

It takes quite a while to load up into Crystal, too. 

We have at least 200 reports and we aren't experiencing any problems with the other reports.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Do you have Dynamic Parameter in your parameter list ?  If so, how you are running this report ? through BO enterprise OR through crystal reports designer ?

If you are running through BO Enterprise / Infoview then you need to schedule LOV through Business View manager to avoid adhoc / on demand schedule.

Hello Sastry,

There are no dynamic parameters.  It's being run from inside a vendor application, and it also takes a long time to bring it up in Crystal Reports to examine it.  As soon as it comes up, it runs quickly.  This just happened since sometime in March, and just for this report.

Since this is in a 3rd party app, you will have to contact them for support. They can in turn contact us if need be. As it is, we have no idea how CR is implemented in their app so it is almost impossible to help much.
