Disaggregating KFs

Former Member

Hello,

As per one of the requirements, we had to prepare a planning level hierarchy as shared in the image.

As shown in the diagram, our demand input happens in a KF named KF1 present at planning level Per-Product-XYZ-Location-ABC (lowest possible level as per the diagram).

We have copied the value of this KF into Standard KF Independent Demand and executed Supply and have received the output in another standard KF Receipts Qty.

Can anyone please tell me how can I disaggregate the value of Receipt Qty from Planning level Per-Product-Location to Planning level Per-Product-XYZ-Location-ABC?

We expect the result of disaggregation to be in proportion to the value of demand KF KF1 at all the levels.

Thanks in advance for the probable response.

Regards,

Suprio

do you have a key figure which represents the proportions on the lowest level?

Receipts qty doess not have the desired lowest level, so you can NOT work with normal disaggregation but have to work with split factors, compare model config guide chapter 17.9 "Example: Split Factor Calculation"

If you have a key figure on the desired lowest level, take that for the calculation

In the configu guide they describe AggDemandQty (which would be your Receipts you want to disaggregate) and SalesQty (which would be the key figure on lowest level based on which you should do the split

Note: A key figure that is split to lower levels than their own base planing level cannot e changed on the lowest level, even if they are displayed, but only up to their own BPL

If you want to revise the proportions afterwards manually, you need to use copy operator and copy the split result into a editable key figure where you than could adjust
