Error while opening a word (.doc) file attachement in Document flow -> Display Document in QM02 transaction

Hi Experts,

I have a situation...

When I am trying to open a word attachment in QM02->Document Flow->Display Document. Getting error "The File 'XYZ' cannot be opened because there are problems with the content". When I press ok then second popup comes "Word found unreadable content in 'XYZ' file. Do you want to recover the contents of this document? If you trust the source of this document, click Yes. And when I press Yes I can view the document perfectly.

Is there any way to suppress or remove these popup messages while opening an attachment in Document Flow->Display document in QM02.

Note: When I am opening this word template in CV02N I am not getting any popup messages and I can straight away see the document.

Please share your thoughts.

Template is .dot, I'm guessing you're still talking about regular Word .doc file in both cases. If the same exact file works in one transaction but doesn't work in another then I'm guessing the problem is not with the file or local Word installation but with QM02.

Check if there are any SAP notes for QM02, you can also use transaction ANST if it's available in your system. If nothing helps, open an incident with SAP and attach the screenshots showing that it works in another transaction.
