Precalculation server error

Hi,

I've noticed that quite a few scheduled precalculated jobs have been failing, I've search the logs and the typically get messages that include sapgw02 and Message no. RSRPREC000.

e.g.

S:RSRPREC:000 10.38.39.87 sapgw02 02 JOEBLOGS

Message no. RSRPREC000

From searching around, I thought it maybe a issue related to gateways. It was suggested that it could be a problem the serivce file line but this was set to

sapgw02 3302/tcp

and that the suggested setting; however I don't know much about that side of things.

If possible could anyone please help me with this problem.

Check function module SYSTEM_GET_CURRENT_GATEWAY. Run it with 'G' first and then run it with '' and compare the difference. 'G' is how it is accessed from the GUI, while blank is how it is accessed form the web. Try running the precalculation using program RS_PREC_PLAN. If it works here, but doesn't work from the web, it's probably a gateway/hosts issue or an FQDN issue.
